SeaArt compute and growth docket#
Status: Decision log Scope: Carry-forward GPU-supply findings plus historical growth/product evidence; present-day funnel/pricing research remains incomplete.
2026-10-04 — Optimized cloud inference and low-friction creation#
Takeaway and compute#
SeaArt has positively documented rented image-generation GPUs: Google Cloud's customer case identifies L4 Spot VMs under GKE. It reports a 30% infrastructure-cost reduction. This is an undated historical case with 2023 launch context, not an October 2026 fleet census or independently tested saving. Google customer case.
Earlier research also identified AWS deployment and Alibaba inference/model-cache optimization. Their differing dates do not establish simultaneous current workload shares. Neither the cases nor a cloud deployment prove that SeaArt owns no other GPUs. Details remain in the 2026-10-03 procurement report.
Growth and monetization#
Historical product/growth evidence: Google's case describes free image creation with simplified model recommendation/configuration, plus Firebase/BigQuery analytics supporting product iteration. It reports twentyfold user growth within five months after the March 2023 launch. That is a vendor/company-reported period result, not current MAU, revenue or evidence that Spot pricing caused the growth. Google customer case.
Inference: reducing both creation friction and serving cost can support broad trial and repeat usage. The documented analytics capability is consistent with an iteration/retention strategy, but published conversion cohorts are absent. Our ownership removes a supplier charge on local capacity; SeaArt's engineering and negotiated terms still prevent a proven numerical cost lead.
Gaps and next evidence#
Still needed: current free/relaxed rules, subscriptions and usage products, creator/community acquisition channels, CAC, free-to-paid conversion, retention, current provider shares and successful-job cost. The historical free-platform description is not a verified current unlimited offer.
The Google case was re-read on 2026-10-04. Other supplier evidence is carried from the prior dated investigation. See the new manifest, prior archive manifest and coverage index.
2026-10-04 — Recurring entry, model commerce and conflicting allowances#
Current primary offer evidence: the live Mall FAQ says free users receive 130 daily Stamina; the official basic guide says 150, and the Mall's annual free figure also implies 150/day. Another FAQ field shows zero login Stamina. Record the inconsistency: a recurring limited entry offer is documented, but the exact entitlement was not account-tested. Do not translate it into an assured image count, since model costs vary. Mall, basic guide.
Subscriptions increase daily allocations, concurrency and priority, and selected unlimited generation is advertised. The plan price fields were blank in the captured live page; ended coupon campaigns are not current checkout rates. The FAQ describes an automatically charged three-day trial, distinct from free daily access. No subscription or trial was started.
Currency update: Stamina expires daily. The current FAQ distinguishes pre-April-2026 nonexpiring credits from newer purchased credits valid two years and event credits with event-dependent validity. This corrects the older guide's blanket “never expires” statement. Current FAQ.
The guide documents task/community rewards and a creator profit center; the Mall says users can enable paid artworks/models/LoRAs. Inference: creators contribute catalog and tutorials, recurring allowances encourage return visits, and subscriptions monetize priority/capacity/private work. None establishes a retained cohort or the profitability of free access. Guide.
The Mall claims 50 million-plus creators and 100 million-plus generated images without a defined period or audited active-user denominator; do not combine these with the earlier five-month growth case into a precise time series. Existing Google/AWS/Alibaba evidence remains dated, not a current fleet census.
This public offer/growth pass is complete with exact tariffs, allowance contradiction, current provider split, title and conversion explicitly unresolved. No checkout or workload was tested. Refresh manifest.
