ThinkDiffusion compute and growth docket#

Status: Decision log Scope: Hosted open-tool sessions and education/team products, distinct from per-job generation APIs.

2026-10-04 — Persistent workspaces, trial sessions and classroom distribution#

Compute and procurement#

Current product: users launch dedicated cloud machines with ComfyUI and other open tools, install extensions/custom nodes and keep plan-dependent storage. QUICK advertises 16 GB VRAM at $0.99/hour, TURBO 24 GB at $1.75 and ULTRA 48 GB at $2.50. VRAM tiers do not establish exact GPU models. Machine-active time is the economic unit; auto-stop timers help limit exposure. The inspected sources do not identify a named hosted GPU supplier or legal ownership of machines. Pricing and machine tiers.

Acquisition and monetization#

Advertised funnel: Hobby has no subscription fee, PAYG machine use, a 15-minute signup trial and 10 GB storage with limited retention. TDPro lists $29.99 monthly, $10 monthly machine credits, 20% discounted machine rates and 200 GB persistent storage while subscribed. Its $19.99 annual-billing equivalent is not a monthly checkout price. Teams lists $59.99/month, $20 credits and two members, with additional seats priced separately. Included credits are not unlimited machine time. Current offers.

Education products give instructors shared class balances, usage controls, persistent private workspaces and environments containing the selected models/nodes. Inference: teachers and cohort onboarding provide a repeat-distribution channel; persistent setup can retain advanced users who would otherwise repeatedly configure rental machines. Classroom availability is documented, but acquisition cost and paid retention are not. Education product.

Outcomes, implication and unknowns#

No audited customer-growth, revenue or conversion series was established in the captured primary sources. Marketing testimonials are not cohort results. Procurement could involve rented, leased or owned capacity; dedicated customer access alone cannot distinguish them.

The relevant rental comparison includes session startup, usable storage, extension compatibility and idle-time billing—not just generation seconds. Persistent environments may justify a service premium, while unused sessions can increase the customer's effective cost per output. This is an economic hypothesis, not measured utilization. Actual hardware, supplier contracts, workload throughput, retention, enterprise seat adoption and margins remain unresolved. No account, paid machine or checkout was created.

Floyo's official company story says this team launched ThinkDiffusion in 2023; its education page labels historical case studies as filmed under the prior ThinkDiffusion name. Treat session-product pages and Floyo's generation-time offering as related history/products, not independent companies for aggregated customer or event counts. Their distinct advertised billing should still be compared separately. Floyo story, education/history, Floyo docket. Captures are in the refresh manifest.
